notes: Dock flags dancing at the mercy of an unrelenting wind became the subject for my “White Acrobats” series. The images freeze the whipping and flipping flags within an instant–- a small interruption in the perpetual motion. I aim to extract a graceful serenity from the violent movement-- arresting the wind in a specific moment while maintaining the sense of its constant breath.
