Artist

Kimberly Poppe
Amsterdam, Netherlands

Kimberly Poppe sees her photography as a way to capture the extraordinary in the ordinary. She currently lives in Amsterdam, but spends six months a year traveling. "The Practice of Contemplative Photography,” written by Andy Karr and Michael Wood, greatly influences her work. She hopes her work gives viewers a moment to "rest their minds."

Hope everyone is well! Would love to know if whoever purchased "Vast Expanse" & "Sandbar" are enjoying their pieces. If you have a moment, it would be fun to see a photo of them hanging in your homes!

Comments About This Piece

In April-May of each year, fields in Holland burst into bloom with coloured stripes of thousands of tulips. One of the most breathtaking sites I've ever seen!

Open Edition

Certain pieces of artwork on UGallery, mostly photography and printmaking, are labeled as either limited edition or open edition. Pieces that are in a limited edition are produced in a set limited quantity. Open edition artworks are not limited in quantity and can be reproduced indefinitely. In both cases, each piece in the edition is identical and is considered an original. Limited edition works are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. This piece is available exclusively at UGallery.
