Artist

Lorianne Ende
Rogers, Minnesota

Lorianne Ende is no stranger to farm life. Her current home, a cattle farm in Minnesota, offers great subject matter for her passion - capturing the interest, creativity, and charm of the outdoors. Lorianne started photographing when digital cameras first arrived on the market, and has since published her work in magazines, books, calendars, and TV commercials. “Unique and different is my motto,” she says. “I try to create art with what’s in front of me and steer clear of the mundane.”

A Day purchased this artwork. 8/9/2016 | 9:51 AM

I bought this photograph simply because it makes me smile when I look at it. It's hanging inside our front door to greet guests and it seems to make them smile as well! Great picture. Printing on Aluminum is a nice change from other art in the house. Though I do wish it were a limited edition.

Comments About This Piece

The new baby goats arrived on the farm, and it was a beautiful spring day.  One goat, in particular, had very large ears. She looked like she was smiling when we put a wreath of flowers around her neck -- and she jumped for joy, as you see captured here in this photo.

Open Edition

Certain pieces of artwork on UGallery, mostly photography and printmaking, are labeled as either limited edition or open edition. Pieces that are in a limited edition are produced in a set limited quantity. Open edition artworks are not limited in quantity and can be reproduced indefinitely. In both cases, each piece in the edition is identical and is considered an original. Limited edition works are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. This piece is available exclusively at UGallery.
