Ina Christensen
New Hope, Pennsylvania

By day, Ina Christensen specializes in family and children's portraits. In her own time, she pours over her collection of photographs thinking up what color looks best on an old black and white Polaroid. Ina adds unapologetic, bold colors and movement to her images, taking away any clear sense one might have of place and time.

I LOVE your work!

I love this photo. Is it possible to make the yellow band either wider or otherwise more prominent?

i keep coming back to 'in the air'. in what format was the image shot? i may be interested in the size 24x36, framed. what are the framing options? glass? i enjoy your pieces. thanks.

Yes, I can certainly change the orange to blue for you. Harvested starts out as a black and white and I then hand color the center and that burnt orange was just was I had picked. Let me know what shade of blue you were thinking and I can work up some samples for you. All the best, Ina

What colors is your "Harvested" piece in? Any blues?

K GUstafson 11/16/2010 | 12:06 PM

Can harvested be ordered in a larger size than posted?

Ina Christensen 8/31/2010 | 2:40 PM

Open Edition

Certain pieces of artwork on UGallery, mostly photography and printmaking, are labeled as either limited edition or open edition. Pieces that are in a limited edition are produced in a set limited quantity. Open edition artworks are not limited in quantity and can be reproduced indefinitely. In both cases, each piece in the edition is identical and is considered an original. Limited edition works are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. This piece is available exclusively at UGallery.
