Can't say enough good things about your exceptional talent. Of course these small previews can't begin to do justice to the quality of the full sized originals. Having seen a number of your originals in person, I know that they are nothing short of breath taking.

Paper is a very common surface for all types of artwork, including photography, printmaking, drawing and painting. Art paper varies in thickness and color. Read the notes section to learn more about the paper used to create this artwork. If not noted as framed, most paper artwork will require framing.

open edition

OPEN EDITION

Certain pieces of artwork on UGallery, mostly photography and printmaking, are labeled as either limited edition or open edition. Pieces that are in a limited edition are produced in a set limited quantity. Open edition artworks are not limited in quantity and can be reproduced indefinitely. In both cases, each piece in the edition is identical and is considered an original. Limited edition works are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. Griffith Observatory's unique architecture, setting, and cinematic exposure have made it one of the most famous and visited landmarks in southern California. 3,015 acres (12.20 km2) of land surrounding the observatory was donated to the City of Los Angeles by Col. Griffith J. Griffith on December 16, 1896. The building of the observatory begun in 1933 and was finished in 1935. Many famous movies have been shot there including Rebel Without a Cause, Terminator and Transformers to name a few. This photograph was shot on 4x5 inch film (10 second exposure) on a clear night with no moon. On the print you can see the space station pass through the sky as well as the stars in the sky that night.
