notes:This photograph is part of my "Dewpoint" series which explores morning dew as it is seemingly crystallized by sunlight on the grass. Setting the delicate details of water droplets in juxtaposition to their blurred brilliance when out of focus, my photographs take realism to the verge of abstraction. From its unique vantage point, the focus of this piece becomes the unique qualities of line, the patterns, the repetition and the spatial arrangements created in nature.
