Love Autumn Hike! I'm borrowing the image for one of my Pinterest art boards. Thanks for sharing your talent! Janet Woodrome, Austin, Texas

I'm assuming you meaning of the pieces on paper? I could actually send a matt to fit a frame size of your choice if you would like and you can purchase a frame of you're choosing. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Hey there - I'm trying to get a feel for what this would cost to frame, as I presume it comes rolled up? What are generally the options for framing something like this (ie, stretched over a frame, or behind glass, etc)? I'd love to get a rough idea of the cost..... Thanks

Thank you A Stull! You should paint- it's an amazing process...

I am taking some time to re-visit some of my favorite impressionist painters. My most recent paintings are a reflection of that exploration. I hope you enjoy! Summer is near = MORE ART!

Thanks for your comments on my art. I am currently working on a new series of paintings that I am excited about. Hopefully I will have them posted soon. Thank you for the introduction of Scott Yeskell, I have spent some time looking at his artwork. I appreciate the support.

Hi, I bought a piece of your work. I like it. It reminds me of an artist named Scott Yeskell. I was just wondering if you are still painting.

i love "skewed perspective." what a cool painting - i love how you were able to convey the blurred shapes and the movement of the street and car lights. keep up the great work!

Comments About This Piece

This piece is part of a series of night city paintings. This piece is on a gallery wrapped canvas with finished white edges. It comes varnished and ready to hang.

Oil painting

Oil paint uses natural oils, such as linseed, poppy and walnut oil to bind the pigments. Oils are slow to dry, which allows the artist to rework the painting to achieve the desired effect. Also, they blend easily, which helps to achieve certain colors. With the rise of naturalism in 15th century Early Netherlandish painting, oil paints became preferred to quick drying tempera paint. Artists wanted a medium that would allow them to achieve detailed and precise effects in their paintings. Consider all of the detail in the masterpieces of Jan van Eyck and Hieronymus Bosch!

Stretched canvas

Canvas is a heavy-duty fabric used as a painting surface. When a canvas artwork is labeled stretched, it means the canvas has been wrapped around a wooden frame (the ''stretcher''). Stretched canvases typically do not require framing.

One-of-a-kind

A one-of-a-kind artwork is a unique piece handmade by the artist. There is only one in existence. The work may be part of a series, however, the piece itself is unlike any other. This piece is available exclusively at UGallery.
