A couple of months ago I added some new pieces to UGallery. Over the last several years I've created a series of paintings and drawings of female nudes of all sizes, shapes, ages, and races. My idea behind it is that all women are gorgeous - it's what's on the inside that is most important, and if that's radiating confidence and beauty, then the woman herself is beautiful. My paintings show women who feel great about themselves and are movers and shakers in the world. I hope you enjoy the view and will feel moved to bring one of these incredible women into your own home!

OIL PAINTING
Oil paint is a type of slow-drying paint that consists of particles of pigment suspended in a drying oil, commonly linseed oil. The viscosity of the paint is often modified by a solvent such as turpentine or white spirit, and varnish may be added to increase the glossiness of the dried film. I created this piece in a surge of energetic joy, loving the look of the oranges, fully enjoying the feel of the oil paints on my fingers and on the paper. It was pure joy intuitively choosing colors and creating form and shape and color on the paper. May you enjoy it as well!
