This m ixed media piece is composed of acrylic and oil.

This image began as a collage. A photocopy collage was transferred to wood. Layers of paint were applied-- initially in acrylic, finish layers in oil. The photographic image is almost entirely painted out, except for the branch/leaf information in the middleground. This painting is sealed with damar varnish.
