I'm excited to join UGallery and post my work for display! I've been developing these techniques for a few years, and learning new things about the the materials I work with after every piece. Although I graduated from RISD in the Department of Architecture, much of my coursework was focused on Fine Art with an emphasis on material experimentation and building abstract compositions. For me, these paintings deal with issues of materiality and texture.

A combination of drip and spray painting techniques. This particular work was painted onto a piece of acetate which was subsequently flipped over and mounted onto MDF, thereby creating a perfectly smooth surface with unique drip patterns. This piece is rustoleum and acetone on acetate mounted onto MDF.
