I love these. thanks for the info on the process!
A WORD ON THE HEXAGON PRINTS: Quick explanation of the process. The print is cut from linoleum with an exacto knife - I'm so used to them from all the paper cutting, that I doubt I'll ever switch to more conventional carving tools. I'm printing with water soluble CYMK process inks on acid free, cold press, 140lb water-color paper. The paper is nice and thick, but still prints beautifully, despite the fact that I'm pulling the prints with a rolling pin on my work desk! The printed image is about 10"x12" on 12x18 paper. I mix the inks on the fly so each print is a slightly different color than the last one. I hand paint each one after the ink has dried with water colors. The colors and form of each is un-premeditated, so I'm never going to be selling two unique prints.
