Composed of water-soluble oil paint and canvas collage. Unframed, sides of the canvas are painted pink. Strips of canvas collage wrap all the way around and are fastened on the back of the work.
This piece is from a series of colorful abstractions. I was inspired by the bricks I pass by on my walk to work. I wondered what would happen if the dreary bricks were painted in an ice cream cone palette.
