Acrylic and natural pigments painted over various texture and gel mediums. Slightly due to the various mediums and thickly applied paint. I leave the sides raw to show artistic process.
This new collection of paintings stems from my fascination with the ruins of Italy, specifically Pompeii. I have tried to utilize the multi textured dimensional appearance of these magnificent works. In addition, I have captured the stunning,dazzling colors of Italy and the Amalfi Coast in these abstract paintings.
