“Color is my day-long obsession, joy and torment,” said Claude Monet. I am obsessed with colors because colors are life. I paint myself. I tend to paint others and all sorts of objects. I naturally surround myself with colors! Every single image I produce contributes to a study of color. I am attracted by minimalist imagery that is very colorful and playful. Clean visuals and monochromatic photos are very appealing to me.
I use a lot of paint and papers, and I prefer to play with reused materials to create my own sceneries. The production process is really important to me. Instead of asking people their names, origins, or age, I decided to ask, “What’s your favorite color?” This became an on going series. I aim to gather everyone’s favorite color while keeping in mind where people are from and the meaning of it in their country. My subjects become their favorite color in an environment they like. For example, in one image my model Maria became yellow surrounded by books!
I create photos and stop motion video for clients and for fun. After all, I want to share my vision and passion of tones to serve communities and to be used in an educational way.
I find inspiration in the everyday of life, in my emotions, graphic design and illustration. I get energy from collaboration with other artists to create more art.
I admire Jessica & Walsh studio for working hand-to-hand on large-scale projects. This team sees big and has great imagination and creativity.
I have always been attracted to visual art and wanted to participate to high quality imagery and build more art. I want to keep studying color because it’s an enormous and vast journey through videos, photos, installations and performance!
