I’ve been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. Today painting continues to bring me joy and hours of long meditation in form and color, with each painting or drawing becoming a world unto itself. Without a better definition I most commonly look at my painting as a lifelong journey to make the best paintings I can. Nature is my subject and becomes more abstracted as I paint layer upon layer of color that shift and meld as I search for the best answers.
My work is autobiographical; connecting the process of painting, making choices and contemplation with the places within me that evoke quite, calm, and beauty.
