Two large paintings coming within a week! 48" x 48" 40" x 56"

Well I was blessed to have some great success with the solo show at The Pioneer Theatre Company's Loge Gallery. The show ended October 2nd and I am going to be adding my most recent work that is available here on UGALLERY! I am excited to share it with you all.

The concept rarely rises first in my creative process. My ideas emerge as I "get in there" to draw and paint. I find something intriguing and then I explore it. It has to hold my interest---or I am simple done. My technical approach is where I buckle down and work out what ever it takes to make this drawing or painting work. I do not sit down and say I am going to draw this way or paint in this style. I simply try to focus on the shapes, color combinations and how the texture is evolving.

Well my show at The Hive Gallery in Salt Lake City at Trolley Square has ended. I will continue to have small works on panel at the gallery. There are a number of new galleries coming up for next year as well as juried shows. I am working in the studio for a show next year that is about social change. It will be at Mestizo Gallery.
