Jackie Graham
San Francisco, California

You don’t have to know the discourse of art history to enjoy Jackie Graham’s tasty watercolors. Her mom’s prowess in the kitchen (and famous blackberry pie) inspired an appreciation for all things culinary and a life-long sweet tooth. While most mothers implore their kids to not play with food, that is in fact what Jackie’s work is all about: food play. From ice cream cones to hot dogs to pop tarts, you can’t help but salivate over her renditions of iconic American cuisine. Fun fact: Handwritten on the back of each piece you’ll find the title and several sentences about the history of the subject. Ever wonder about the origins of the Pop-Tart? Probably not, but now you might.
