I produce the majority of my work by means of intaglio. I am still learning all of the processes of printmaking. I am also a photographer, but I usually allow these images to inspire my print work. Two major themes I have worked with in the past few years are memory and travel.
Much of my work is directly related to my travels. I am inspired as an artist by the Impressionists. I am also a French major, and I have been to France to study in many of the same places that the Impressionists painted. My experiences in Iceland, France, Portugal, Italy, Spain, and Belgium heavily influence the way I see my art and the world.
