What a gorgeous, inspiring photo. I feel like it brings life and energy to my home. I love the vibrant colors but the photo does not overwhelm you and is striking, yet easy on the eyes.

I used to love the magic of film in photography. Don't get me wrong; I still am amazed at the chemical alchemy that happens from the moment the shutter opens, to the point of beaming that developed negative onto a light sensitive piece of paper. I had over 2000 35mm negatives in two folders I left in the UK over 5 years ago. They were left in a shed, and the cold humid air did a number on about 30-40% of them, in very different detrimental ways. From mere dust and scratches, to weird distorting photoshop-like effects, to utter annihilation and destruction of the film rendering it useless. With digital images, there is no in-between. The images are either in perfect condition, or non-existent; deleted. This, of course; again - is both good, and bad. With film, you at least have SOMETHING, even if it has been almost entirely destroyed by the elements. good and bad. the eternal struggle of the grey area continues.
