Diane has a diverse background in the arts, including years of painting nature and the elements of the West. Unlike some artists Diane is not pigeon holed by one style or subject. Instead she draws from varying aspects of her life spent hiking the Rocky Mountains, the daily scenes from her farm, or her fascination with moving water.
Her unique approach to water and light has won her paintings a reputation of drawing you in looking for what lies beneath the surface. Her landscapes are both tranquil and thoughtful.
Most of her canvases are very large. Being the large statement pieces that her paintings are they are gallery wrapped style and ready to hang as is.
Diane shares an artist studio with her daughter where she hand stretches her canvases and mixes her own oil mediums.
