Pat Forbes has been painting for years, but had never tried to sell work - until now! After strong encouragement from friends, Pat decided to apply to Ugallery and we are delighted to have her. Pat uses lush brushwork and abstract forms to capture the natural world around her home in Massachusetts - the "marshes, beaches, tidal flats, city streets, summer gardens, mountain vistas, seashells, stones, and spider webs." She works primarily in acrylics, explaining she "[loves] the acrylic medium because I can touch it. I believe touch is an important and underused way we can experience art." Amen to that!
