Chris Gug
Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Chris Gug enjoys snapping photos while scuba diving or swimming in shallow waters with a snorkel. He focuses on how each photograph will make the audience feel, rather than on capturing a favorite animal. As a self-taught photographer, he enjoys putting himself in dangerous situations underwater and experimenting with photography techniques. When he’s not photographing, you can find him reading about marine mammals or researching a new shooting location. He currently lives in Florida. Fun fact: In high school, Chris had 38 inches of curly hair; now he shaves it off to be more hydrodynamic for swimming.

Artist and Customer Comments

Hi all- I'm currently in Chicago setting up a huge double booth at the Gold Coast Art Fair in Grant Park near downtown Chicago. The weather is beautiful and I'm looking forward to seeing some of my old customers and making some new friends. If anyone is in the Chicago area stop by my booth to see my latest releases. Nest week I will be back in Florida diving with the glass minnows in Key Largo to create more images that I hope you all will love!
